Bug fixes and improvements:

General

• Fixed: color distortion (green shadows) over component input from HD (720p) video source.

• Fixed: loading IR codes from an external BIN file for one video input doesn’t overwrite codes loaded from a BIN file for another video input

• Fixed: incorrect mapping of the “channel up/down buttons” on the generic DVD Player Remote Control (used to send “disk up/down commands”).

Media Center compatibility

• Fixed: “No TV Signal” error after waking up from Sleep.

Known issues

• Lower performance (blocky and/or jumpy video) when streaming from a wireless HAVA device (HAVA Wireless HD, Titanium HD WiFi) to a Vista client over wireless LAN, especially if two or more local clients are streaming simultaneously.
• Sometimes no video after connecting remotely. Need to reconnect to get the video. Upgrading the driver for your graphics adapter may help in this case.

HAVA Titanium HD WIFI Firmware 222216

This firmware is specifically to resolve the color distortion/right-to-left-side wraparound issue seen primarily when using 720p HD input. Please install release 1.7.2.256a below if you are not already at the 1.7.2 level, then use the Setup Wizard’s
Advanced->Update->Firmware tab to upload this firmware image to HAVA Titanium HD WIFI.

This update fixes an installation issue when HAVA 1.7.2.256 is installed on top of older versions.

Monsoon is pleased to announce the HAVA 1.7.2.256 release! We are interested to hear any feedback, good or bad, from users about this release.

New features:

• Remote viewing peer-to-peer server now features redundant backup to minimize "server cannot be reached" errors.
• HAVA can now be rebooted from Player application.
• Setup Wizard now correctly identifies WEP and WPA wireless networks under Windows XP.
• Widescreen option added to Player for remote viewing mode.
• Setup Wizard online help now features full-text search.

Issues resolved:

• “No TV Signal” error when recording in Media Center is resolved.
• Audio pitch distortion in remote viewing is reduced.
• HAVA doesn’t act as DHCP server any more when connected to Ethernet. Requires a factory reset after firmware upgrade.
• Black video or communication problems when HAVA and/or PC are connected to router both wirelessly and via Ethernet are resolved.
• Added error message warning that no DVD burner drive is installed if attempting to burn a DVD without a DVD burner.
• Color distortion in remote viewing fixed for PCs using Intel 82865G graphics adapter.
• Fixed issue where audio mute settings were lost if you went back in the time-shift buffer then pressed the "Live" button.
• Audio mute settings are now saved when exiting the Player.
• Various issues in Setup Wizard and Player online help files have been resolved.
