IR code for Starhub (SCV) Singapore Cable Channel Provider

Just want to share with the forum members about the excellent support I received from Snappy Multimedia. They are fast and responsive and even worked on my questions over the weekend.

To cut the long story short, with their help, I am now able to use HAVA with SCV digital cable box built by ADB.

i hate to necro a post, but i need help for the starhub (SCV) box too. Also an ADB box.

I got my hava box from hongkong, not from aeris. (its not like aeris can be found via google too)

appreciate a link to the box info,etc.

Dear Customer,


Please download the (C1818_PL.bin) from http://monsoonftp.com/download/IR_Codes/C1818_PL.bin and copy the file into "C:\Program Files\Monsoon Multimedia\HAVA Wizard" directory and follow the instructions below.


Steps:

1. Launch "HAVA Wizard"
2. Follow the wizard to the screen for IR Blaster configuration
3. Now on the IR Blaster Configuration Screen select "Device Category" as "ALL" and "Manufacturer" as "ALL"
4. Select the radio button labeled "Select by Code"
5. Drop down the list below the radio button "Select by Code" to locate and select Code C1818 for Starhub STB
6. Test some commands from the drop-down menu and exit the Setup.
7. Open the HAVA PC Player.
8. Open Remote Control and Check if it is functioning.

Can Hava support Starhub Hubstation remote control, especially with 4 color buttons on the remote? I am interested in Hava if it can support these buttons so that I can view videos recorded in the hard disk remotely. Thanks for any info!

I tried to follow the instructions stated on the 30 Mar reply but step 5 did not work.. I cannot see the Code C1818 for Starhub STB in the drop-down list.

I tried it on 2 laptops but both did not work.

Pls advise further. thanks.

I was able to select the C1818 code with the new file u sent. However, some of the the remote functions did not work correctly. I was unable to go to a channel directly by clicking on the number(s). The up and down channel buttons did not work as well.

I am still using the 153.113 firmware.

Do advise further... thanks.

Does Hava supports Singapore Starhub Hubstation HD box? I have the hubstation HD box and my aeris information is as follows:

My Aeris box IR blaster version is 0

I have noted the remote controller ID and other code located at the back of the new Hubstation HD remote controller and they are as follows:

You may try the Attached File. It should work with Starhub Singapore Cable Box.

Kindly Note: Extract C1818_PK.bin and Copy the Files in C:\Program Files\Areis Setup Wizard Folder and Try to Configure IR Blaster by Selecting C1818 in the Setup Wizard

Hi, I downloaded C1818_PL.bin but couldn't see the C1818 selection under code select. I am using the latest software and placed the bin file under the Setup Wizard directory. Any help from Tech Support would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

What is the IR Blaster Version of your HAVA?

To know the IR Blaster Version of HAVA: Run HAVA Setup Wizard > Click Next until Advanced is Highlighted > Click on Advanced Once> Wait for the information to get populated. Note Down the information.
