REMOTE CODE: AMSTRAD DRX500i - SKY ITALIA

Hi

I have an AMSTRAD DRX500i for Sky Italia and have been unable to get Hava to control it using any of the satellite codes installed. I have tried all of the S codes in my list including:
S1885, 1856, 1775, 1749, 1640, 1639, 1539, and 1538 but I cannot get the Amstrad to respond. I read in another post that the Hava can learn remote comands, but I don't think that the unit has an IR input?? Can anyone help?? Thanks.

1. Copy the files in the Setup Wizard application directory (in C:\Program Files)
2. Close that window
3. Launch the Setup Wizard
4. In the IR Blaster Configuration screen, choose ALL for Device Category, choose All for Devices and for Manufacturer, click on Select by Codeset, wait until the pop-up menu gets populated and then choose S1514
5. Launch the Player and verify that all desired commands are working as expected

Thanks for that. I downloaded S1514 and went through the setup and selected S1514 as the file for the remote. The setup program did not allow me to test the remote (the control box for testing was blank, including the drop down menu). When I tested the remote in the player it did not work. Help!!

I suspected that you may have the PK version of our box.

Hi HavaMan

Thanks for your help. Have downloaded the driver and installed but the box does not respond. Have repositioned the sensors and tried but no response. The Hava is pretty useless remotely unless I have control. Do you have any other suggestions??

Glad to know that your problem is fixed .

You can post Snapshot on Hava forum by uploading the file of photo sharing service like Flickr,Picassa,PhotoBucket,Slide etc and emdeding it here using IMG tag .

Dear Customer,

Kindly download the S1515_PL.bin file from http://www.monsoonmultimedia.com/download/S1515_PL.bin
Copy this file into “C:\Program Files\Monsoon Multimedia\HAVA Wizard” directory and follow the instructions below.

Steps:
1. Launch “HAVA Wizard”
2. Follow the wizard to the screen for IR Blaster configuration
3. Now on the IR Blaster Configuration Screen select “Device Category” as “ALL” and “Manufacturer” as “ALL”
4. Select the radio button labeled “Select by Code”
5. Drop down the list below the radio button “Select by Code” to locate and select Code S1515
6. Test some commands from the drop-down menu and exit the Setup.
7. Open the HAVA PC Player.
8. Open Remote Control and Check if it is functioning

Run HAVA Setup Wizard > Click Next until Advanced is Highlighted > Click on Advanced Once> Wait for the information to get populated. In General Page Note Down the IR Blaster Version and exit the wizard.
