PAL RESOLUTION TEMPORARY SOLUTION

Postby UTAHCAFE on Sun Aug 09, 2009 4:19 pm

hello everyone, sorry for my english in advance!
Well after I drove crazy hava support and I have to say they are great! My issue still at today a remote player. Well I have in Itay Hava Platinum and everything is works great, just few issue , one of them is the frame rate and resolution. I use Hava to bypass my satellite reciever in Milano and so I can see Astra and Hotbird satellites. The reciver is in pal and hava detected this system as well. The frames and resolution are my pain. So hava is in tune with the reciever and my player over here in USA is ofcourse in pal. After 2 weeks almost I found a solution for this drops, still my temporary solution and I hope to find a permanent solution, to make more confortable watching remote tv. I set the satellite recivers in 16:9 PAL, Hava detected and rebooted it self. Here in remote player I adjusted the view from standard to wide screen, this emproved my player, because of this unstability also the audio is affected, so I moving the player point back or front will help to recovering this desync. What I already asked to support is to give us the opportunity remotly or in setupwizard to have a tab tool for resolutions and frame manualy setting, the resolutions and the frame rates for those they have this issue with tv dvd or what ever out of USA with different systems this will open also a opportunity worlwide for hava without limits.
Ofcourse the bandwith is important and I can not change the upload for what it is, but to have also this issue in top wont help.
well if some one have idea how to fix it please? or if in remote I can try VLC , if someone can help me in this I want to testing, I know for my past experinces in streaming, I had to adjust manualy the frame rate, but in this case I don't see any way to do it yet!

Your issue seems to be more of remote speed than anything else as I use PAL and have no issues in 4x3 or widescreen.

What is your upload speed in Europe and what speed are you getting on remote.

Please note we can now get up to 5mb succesfuly on remote view now and the faster remote speeds certainly help with issue like yours.
