Telewest/Virgin Media STB/TV Drive

Codes learnt from a Virgin Media TV Drive STB (Scientific Atlanta) controller but worked perfectly fine on my old Telewest branded non-DVR STB (Pace) so may possibly work on other Telewest/Virgin Media devices... Pretty much all the buttons including Play/Pause/Record etc too.

Dear Customer,

Kindly download the attached Virgin Media UK.lrn file and save it at C:\Program Files\Monsoon Multimedia\HAVA\Setup Wizard Open HAVA Setup Wizard and Click on Next until you will reach HAVA IR Configuration Screen.
Select "Learned" for Device Category and Select by Model.
Click on Advanced Button in the bottom left hand corner of the Wizard
Click on "Video" Upper left hand corner.
Click on "IR Blaster-Configure" Tab
Again Select "learned" for Device Category and Select by Model.
Now Click on "IR-Learning" Tab
Click on "Load" and Browse to C:\Program Files\Monsoon Multimedia\HAVA\Setup Wizard Location and Select "Virgin Media UK.lrn"
Test some Commands and Exit the Wizard.

Thanks M8, done and dusted and I've also just written remote code for the Digihome PVR 160 for any Brits here as its a popular Freeview HDD recorder here in the UK...I'm a happy chappy now

How exactly did you get your Telewest/VirginMedia STB working? Just via S-Video/Composite or did you manage to use component?

Hi,
Could someone please list the codes to program a universal remote to work with the NTL/Virgin Media/Telewest STB? I can't open the file above.

I'm looking to get the IR code to program a universal remote to work on these boxes.
