Hava is unreachable

Postby GreeneRbt on Sun Jun 28, 2009 6:41 am

Hi,

I am running Mobile for Windows Mobile 6 on my HTC Shadow, and it works perfectly when I am in range of my wifi at home. Whenever I turn off wifi, or travel outside the it's range, connecting to my Titanium HD fails with the following message:

"GreeneRbt is unreachable. Access to GreeneRbt may be blocked by your router or the Internet service provider."

I have tried to find help on this, but don't see it anywhere.

Thanks

Dear Customer,

Have you tried connecting HAVA remotely through PC / Laptop?

Anyway to fix this issue kindly Open UDP 1234 and UDP 56123 Ports on your Router for HAVA. Kindly check what IP address is Assigned to your HAVA by your Router and reserve that IP Address to HAVA.
Best regards,

I have the HAVA player installed in a couple of machines in my house, one over my wirless and one over an ethernet. Both work fine. The problem is when I try to use it mobile, off my HTC shadow Windows Mobile phone.

Can you give me more detailed instructions on the firewall / UDP port settings? I have a Zyxel P-330W router, and I know how to get to the administration page, but what, specifically m I supposed to do? I know the local ip address assigned for my HAVA box (192.168.1.36), but don't know what I am supposed to do with that.

The one screen on the router setup for "Special Applications" has - Name, Incoming Type, Incoming Start Port, Incoming Finish Port, Trigger Type, Trigger Start Port, Trigger Finish Port fields... What am I suppsed to put there?

Thanks,
GreeneRbt
