Need IR codes for Singtel Mio TV STB

Postby AsusEpoxy on Tue May 05, 2009 7:47 am

Hi all,

Sometimes it seems that I am the only havanaut in Singapore. Sure is kinda lonely.

I have recently subscribed to a local service provider's STB service which is called MIOTV. The STB used is a Motorola VIP1208AP , I am unable to use the IR learning feature successfully with my Hava Wireless HD. As such, I am unable to control the STB.

Does any kind soul here have the IR codes for this STB? Or can HAVA support help here?

Please try some of the existing Motorola codes: in Setup Wizard select category ALL, Manufacturer Motorola, Select by Code, then try the Test/Try Next Code buttons to go through all known Motorola codes. Or you could narrow it down to Category "Cable" if you like.
Best regards,

after some support emails from HAVA support, C1216 is the IR code that "works"
I am able to power on/off my stb so far only. Other commands/button are all jumbled up. So I can't know what I am gonna get

for eg, pressing "menu" on Hava virtual remote will trigger "info" response.
Channel up or Channel down are mapped to other channel numbers..... so i can't do proper channel surfing much less choose channels by pressing desired numbers.

Anyone has any idea how I can resolve this?

My problems are solved after the HAVA support team kindly remapped the buttons and the proper response in a new IR file. Thank you guys very much!

For those who have the PK chipset , can just request C2011_PK.bin from hava support.
