Getting MS Remote to change channels in Media Center

Have been running HAVA Platinum with DirecTv on XP and Vista(also now Win7) for several years with no problems. Am now trying to include Windows Media Center, but cannot get the MS Remote to change channels properly. I have downloaded and followed the setup instructions and I can only get channel changes for single digit channels ....2,4,5, etc but cannot get channel changes for 2 or 3 digit channels. This is true whether I select a channel with the MS Remote or select it from the program guide.

The Hava remote works fine in Win7 build 7000, but no matter how diff things I try MCE does not behave. It seems to send the codes 3 times. If I type 7 its sends 777
If I type 355 it send 355 355 355 which ends up being 3553.

MCE also shows the HAVA as 2 tuners. One is labeled remote viewing. I am only trying to configure the "normal" one?

Any ideas?

Was this 64 bit or 32 bit? I have found posts for a virtual IR blaster, that say 32 bit only (vista) Where did you get an "update" for it?

Odd, or good perhaps. If I schedule a recording it properly changes channels ?
