Software to Convert avi and other formats to Hava Mpeg2

It would be nice if all my avi and other format videos could be played off of my usb harddrive connected to my Hava. I have software to convert avi to mpg but,
the Hava box can't see it ??

well, what im using may help u deal with such problem. Pavtube Video Converter always helps me convert between lots of formats, avi included. U can have a try.
