Time Shift Recording & Static FR

I think it would be nice to be able to record from the timeshift viewer. I know you can watch it but I use the Hava to record games and it'd be nice if I get a sweet kill or something to not have to ALWAYS be recording.
Also I edit in Premiere Pro and the dynamic frame rate of the .mpg's shorts the video by about 1 minute/10 minutes which causes some MAJOR audio lag

I would also like to have time shift recording, would be very useful. Quite often I would like to time shift and record. Maybe a program has been on ten minutes and I think oh I woulda liked to record this, with time shift recording I could.

It would take too much extra code perhaps to enable an extra function that is already catered for. HAVA has remote recording and you can schedule recordings.

So to double up is really not necessary. You need to understand the units only have so much memory in the first place. Hava have already advised that the recording is very intensive on the HAVA and the PC.

I was happy that Hava introduced the recording feature in the first place.

I do not belive any placeshifting device on the market can record from the buffer directly. The buffer is temporary, but I have had HAVA timeshifting setup up for 8 hours and not had any issues going back and forth thru timeshifted content on the buffer.
