Hi Randy, One of the difficulties with the iPhone application is that Apple's SDK is not open "enough" to allow us to do the lower-level hacks that are required to fully implement the vBooster code. We are certainly aware of the high demand for a HAVA Player on this device! We are currently working with a 3rd party on this activity but it is not yet possible to say when it will be available. We do appreciate your interest in HAVA.
Best regards,
MyHAVA Support

I am sure there are many HAVA owners who would love to get an iphone app for HAVA including myself. I have both a windows mobile based 3G phone, symbian based 3G phone and now an iphone 3G. I think it would also help HAVA in the end to have such app in terms of sales.
Patiently waiting for iphone app for my HAVA.

Don't get me wrong... I am highly appreciative of the Nokia N800 (I have one), Windows Mobile and Symbian support Hava has been providing... Past the Mac, Palm and Blackberry ports, you guys will have it made!!!
But unfortunately, I'm gonna haft to say that the iPhone and iPod Touch deserve top priority when it comes to mobile platform support, if only because of their popularity...
I bought the N800, then the Hava knowing that I was going to use them for place-shifting. But as much as I love the openness of the N800/810 I'm gonna haft to say the iPod Touch comes in first place!
So any chance we could speed a Hava iPhone/Touch port up and release it by December?

Any update on this? I'm holding off on buying an Iphone because there's no place shifting client available and I use the Windows Mobile client a lot, but now that AT&T stores have them in stock, my patience is wearing thin. Do we have any sort of an ETA?

Sure there may be another device similar out there but lets see them pause rewind and fastforward like my platinum. I luv the hava and will use what ever device i have to to catch the game. Well the Orb folks have done it I'm very close to getting the HAVA (well, okay, PC TV To Go) to work with Orb to stream live TV. Meanwhile, all the other video streaming works GREAT on their iPhone client

I have a PCTV to go Wireless HD which is a (HAVA). I am unable to see and control the feed from the Hava to my iPhone using Orb. I got a bit confused about the composite and the coaxial connection. Can somebody explain to me in detail how to: - Setup the HAVA to stream the feed from an FTA receiver to an iPhone running Orb. - How to control the channels from the the FTA receiver. I appreciate any help.

at least if they need a beta group, they could release it to JB phones, by releasing a repo for it....

Can someone from HAVA update s on the development of an iPhone application? It has been quite some time since we have official word here from HAVA. I seen on the EngadgetHD announcements that development continues and is expected Q2 2009 but it would be great if HAVA could post some details to it's follower base here. Here is the link for anyone wishing to review the post: http://www.engadgethd.com/2009/01/09/monsoon-brings-hava-player-for-apples-iphone/-Dirk

Yes, this is great news! I cannot wait. Interface looks childish but I am not going to complain.
