Channel Change in MCE Crashes Computer

I'm using Wireless HD with Vista Media Center and a sorta generic IR remote control and a Dish Network 722 box.

Everything is a fresh install.. including the Virtual IRBlaster software and the hack to keep channels from being sent over 2 or 3 times.

When I try to change channels in Media Center using the remote, my computer stutters for about a half second, goes to a blue screen and crashes. The remote works fine with Hava Player, but not Media Center. Any tips?

A little more info... channel changes in MC work fine if I'm using the program guide.. but it's when I manually enter the channel number that the problem turns up. Also, if I try to enter channel 23 (or instance) it enters channel "232" then crashes.
