I believe this version is the current recommended install for the Gold...anyone know any differently?

I made the changes and it works on 1.7, but the player keeps telling me to upgrade to 1.8. When I do the player says it is incompatable with hava gold. Why does it tell you to update and then it doesn't work. It is a pain to uninstall and reinstall old software, which I have done, but it keeps bugging me to upgrade. what is the deal? :?

Hiya :D

Can I ask your help please?
I have a wireless usb bridge device thing. I also am planning to buy a Hava Box. Which Box can I connect to my router through using my usb bridge device? I was going to buy a Hava Gold Box. Will I be able to connect to my router using a USB bridge device and this box?

Thanks

I don't know what a USB bridge device is, but if it's a USB wireless adapter, then the answer is "No." The Hava Gold and Platinum HD models have no USB port whatsoever. The Hava Titanium has a USB port, and it's usually sold with it's own supported USB wireless adapter. I have no idea if it would work with a 3rd party USB wireless adapter.

Now if you expunge the "USB bridge" part, you can certainly buy any number of modestly-priced wired/wireless bridges which should work fine with the Gold. Note that all Hava's (so far as I know) have a fast Ethernet RJ45 jack.
