Mac SDK Closed - Protocol Help?

Hi,
I am currently working on an Android Viewer http://www.meavydev.co.uk/HavaViewer.html and have got it detecting and controlling the box locally.
I would really like to use the Monsoon P2P protocol, so tried to join the Mac SDK (I am a Mac developer too having worked on NeXTStep in the past...).
Unfortunately it is closed, so I am trying to get information on the P2P protocol.
I tried looking for the GPL source, but all the links are broken
I have started the WireShark approach and see the Catalog discovery response, but it is slow going trying to reverse engineer code from the UDP packets...
Can anyone help?
