The attached ZIP file contains the Amstrad DRX280 IR code BIN file for "PL" versions of HAVA. Check here to determine which IR Blaster version your HAVA supports.

Please read the included readme file for information on how to install these files for use with your HAVA, and also to check the function code mapping.

Please let us know if there are any problems such as missing key codes, keys incorrectly mapped, etc.

The included S1177_PL.bin file was sent to me last week as a follow up to a support call. This is now working reliably using the Direct TV Remote Control, as advised.

Whilst I was waiting to receive this I came across S1848 on this forum and was using this quite reliably in conjunction with the HKBN Remote Control, although S1177 does appear less prone to double key presses.

You mentioned this is for "PL" versions of HAVA - as sold in North America. Could you please clarify what other versions are available? AFAIK, I was shipped a PL version as there is no UK / European version.


Apologies if the following is off-topic, but believe this may be useful to those using the Internet Tablet beta client.

Using S1848 I could access the coloured buttons using the Internet Tablet beta client via IR Commands "Discreet Inputs" 1 - 4. After switching to S1177, this seems to have shifted up by 3. i.e. Input 4 is now Red button, Input 5 is Green etc.
