When trying to connect to remote HAVA I get this error message: P2P Server not responding.

This is new this week. I previously did not have any problems connecting. My local HAVA works fine, and I can connect to the remote when I am in range of my router.

Any ideas?

Hi guys, I own a Hava Titanium and I have a problem. My kitten has shredded the IR transmitter cable thing that tells the cable box to change channels, and now my HAVA is useless :(

Could one of you wonderful people tell me where to look, and what too look for in order to replace it? I tried another cable that came with my pinnacle remote thing, but has a different plug size on the end.

Thanks in anticipation,

Dave

I have a HAVA wireless model and it cannot work with the IR learning function. As I know that it can work with the IR learned file .lrn, but I don't know how to get it and where to get it. I am using HKBN box in Hong Kong. I bought my Hava few months ago from USA. Can somebody help?

I have already tried to download the V1601_PL.bin and save it at the setup wizard directory, but I still couldn't find the V1601 code in the setup process. The IR blaster version is 0 in my Hava, is there something wrong with the bin file? What I can do now?

Please help. :(

Using Hava setup wizard I have learned the codes for my Samsung H3126 stb.
But how do I use these learned codes when viewing in MCE?

GARY the moderator of this board made a post previously about not recommending using HAVA firmware etc. on the Pinnacle PCTVTOGO and to put pressure on Pinnacle - In my view you would be better talking to the wall.

The point of this post is to give you my experience with Hava software running on PCTVTOGO.

I updated my PCTVTOGO to HAVA (much better support, wish I had known previously as I would not have bought the Pinnacle)

Anyway, HAVA firmware 152.115-32 works fine on the Pinnacle as does the 1.74 player (albeit a nag screen that the firmware is out of date)

I did update the firmware to the latest Hava firmware revision 262.289-32 but that broke the WIFI, it would never even attempt to connect to the access point (Ethernet still works ok and the PCTVTOGO SSID during initial setup still worked), I then found a 262.290-32 beta firmware (exactly the same problem as 262.289-32)

Reverting back to older Hava firmware 152.115-32 fixed the WIFI issue.

One thing to note if setting up the Pinnacle using the Hava software and Hava firmware 152.115-32 via wireless is that the Hava software will not detect the Pinnacle Box - reason for this..

Hava is looking for an access point with an SSID of HAVAMONSOONxxxx

but the Pinnacle has an SSID of PCTVTOGOxxxx (Hava firmware does not change this code, this also goes for the Telnet logon that will still prompt PCTVTOGO login:, irrelevant as no one knows the password but I thought Id mention it anyway)

To allow the HAVA software to detect your PCTVTOGO box using wireless setup then navigate to HKCU\Software\Monsoon Multimedia\HAVA\Setup Wizard and change the HAVASSID entry from HAVAMONSOON to PCTVTOGO. (this only works on 152.115-32 firmware - possibly older, but I have not tested - but as far as I can tell does not work with the latest 2.. series Hava firmware releases :-(

Gary why the large jump in firmware from 152.115-32 to 262.289-32?

(I'd ask what in the latest firmware revision has broken WIFI in the Pinnacle but that would probably be fruitless and Id be told to put pressure on Pinnacle :-))

NB. After changing the SSID in the registry a PC reboot will be required before HAVA sees the Pinnacle via wireless setup.

OK I know I'm going to get bounced here, but I thought someone may take pity on me before the moderator deletes me.

I have a Pinnacle PCTV To Go Wireless (EU), (? Rebadged HAVA Wireless HD). I'm based in Sydney, NSW, AU

I've managed to set up local streaming, I have set up a static IP address on the Wireless side. I have placed that address in the DMZ on my router, but I sstill cannot configure remote viewing, (Pinnacle help is worse than useless).

The P2P server seems to ping ok. But I still don't get the opportunity during the setup wizard to register for remote viewing, I'm Lost!

Can anyone help, please?

Hello. I need to know if I am doing something wrong. I will watch my Hava screen on my laptop via wireless at home and will get disconected after a few hours of viewing. I fix the problem by unpluging my router and waiting 10-20 seconds then plugging my home router back into power. I am then able to reconnect to the router at home and view the programs. Is there a fix for this recurrent issue?

What are others doing to optimize the settings?
Anything different on the HAVA unit or in Vista?

And I have a quick question.
I am using my HAVA to watch my Dish at my girlfriend's apt. across town.
I am viewing it at 281kb. Using a HAVA Wifi to my router at home, and watching on a wireless laptop at her place. Does 281kb sound right and is there anything I can do to make it better?

I felt like this deserved a post of it's own. Thanks suunnittelija for the find!!!

No more Arcsoft logo and beta sound bit. I have been running the WM6 PE 320x240 cab on my Mogul PPC6800 error free for a couple of hours now...sweet!!!! Image and especially sound (no echo's) quality is drastically improved...

I found Mobile players from Archos website. Seems to be that their product is based on Hava, so these mobile players might work. Even the download link is for Monsoonftp website:

OK, I have had the Hava HD platinum wireless for months now on 3 different phones and honestly , the mobile player SUCKS. WHY is there no quality settings? KBPS?? FPS anything....please. this forum has no response from the engineering aspect, obviously. All this money for a product that operates in the mobile version like its running on windows 98 or something. GET WITH IT, Monsoon!!! YOU have video issues and audio issues , not to mention, lack of support. If I wanted to just watch tv on my PC and not mobile, I could have invested my money elsewhere. This was touted to be mobile compatible and if you call this a quality product, you must be living in a third world country. Ihate to be so critical but your lack of response seems to call out for it. I dont expect a theater experience on my mogul or my i730 or ppc6700, but you can obviously do better by giving some video adjusting qualities to the software . All you have is a NTSC or PAL setting basically and some very rudimentary picture adjustments such as brightness, contrast, etc. WE WANT A REAL SOFTWARE SETUP ON MOBILE. This is 2007 , not 2003. If anyone else agrees with me, please respond to this. I know I am not the only one with these issues.
